5 Fiber Rich and Kidney Friendly Foods

Everyone has heard they should eat more fiber. But what is fiber? And why is it so important? Fiber is an indigestible carbohydrate, which means your body cannot break it down. Most carbohydrates give our body energy, but fiber does not. Instead, fiber helps with bowel movements and helps lower blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol.
