Classes

Being diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) can be overwhelming for you, your family and your friends. Knowing more about what to expect, what you can do now to slow the progression of kidney disease and what your treatment options are will help you be better prepared.

Puget Sound Kidney Centers is happy to offer several in-person and virtual classes to kidney patients and their friends and family. With virtual classes you can join classes from anywhere, through your computer or smart phone.

Survive and Thrive is a program for people with CKD stages 2-4. This program focuses on healthy lifestyle behaviors to protect and stabilize kidney function. For people with CKD stages 4-5, who will soon start treatment, we offer Healthy Options Classes. Community Classes are for anyone who wants to learn about kidneys, healthy eating or other ways to protect your kidneys. Learn more information about all our classes below.
