Apple Cranberry Cobbler

A delicious after-dinner treat, the only tough part about cooking this cobbler is deciding whether you should keep it all for yourself or share it with friends.

What you need for the filling:
 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
 ½ cup frozen cranberries
 ¼ cup granulated sugar
 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
 ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
 ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
 ½ tsp vanilla
What you need for the topping:
 ½ cup all-purpose flour
 ¼ cup brown sugar
 1 tsp baking soda
 1 tbsp lemon juice
  cup milk
What you need for the maple cream:
 1 cup Cool Whip
 1 tbsp maple syrup
To make the cobbler:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix all filling ingredients together in a large bowl.

Transfer mixture to a 9-inch non-stick baking pan.

Sift dry topping ingredients together in a small bowl.

Combine lemon juice and milk and add to dry topping mixture.

Drop spoonfuls of topping over the apple cranberry filling.

Bake for 45 minutes or until the fruit bubbles and the topping turns golden brown.

Combine maple syrup with Cool Whip to make the maple cream.

Include a dollop of maple cream with each serving of cobbler.
